SMS Terms and Conditions

These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the SMS and MMS messaging program operated by JFX LOGISTICS LLC (“JFX Logistics,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

By providing your mobile telephone number and agreeing to receive text messages from JFX LOGISTICS LLC, you agree to these SMS Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

1. SMS and MMS Program

JFX LOGISTICS LLC may send SMS and MMS messages concerning freight brokerage, transportation coordination, shipment activity, and customer support.

Messages may include:

Freight quotes
Load information
Pickup and delivery details
Shipment-status updates
Appointment confirmations or changes
Driver and carrier communications
Bills of lading
Proofs of delivery
Rate confirmations
Shipment photographs
Documents related to active shipments
Service issues or delivery exceptions
Account communications
Customer-support responses

Messages are intended for customers, prospective customers, shippers, carriers, dispatchers, drivers, consignees, receivers, and other parties who have agreed to communicate with JFX LOGISTICS LLC by text message.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

You may consent to receive SMS or MMS messages from JFX LOGISTICS LLC by:

Submitting an online consent form
Affirmatively selecting an unchecked SMS-consent checkbox
Providing verbal consent during a telephone conversation
Requesting or agreeing to receive freight-related information by text
Sending a text message to a JFX LOGISTICS LLC telephone number
Replying to a message or otherwise initiating an SMS conversation with us

By opting in, you authorize JFX LOGISTICS LLC to send SMS and MMS messages to the mobile telephone number you provided.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

You represent that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the mobile telephone number provided and that you have authority to consent to receiving messages at that number.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies depending on:

Shipment activity
Quote requests
Pickup and delivery schedules
Service needs
Customer-support requests
The number of active loads or transactions
Communications initiated by you

Some recipients may receive only occasional messages. Recipients involved in active shipments may receive multiple messages relating to pickup, transit, delivery, documentation, or shipment exceptions.

4. Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile telephone plan.

JFX LOGISTICS LLC does not charge a separate fee for participating in its SMS or MMS messaging program. Your wireless carrier may charge you for messages, data usage, or other services.

You are responsible for any charges imposed by your wireless carrier.

5. How to Opt Out

You may stop receiving SMS or MMS messages from JFX LOGISTICS LLC at any time by replying:

You may also use other commonly recognized opt-out words, including:

CANCEL
END
QUIT
UNSUBSCRIBE

After submitting an opt-out request, you may receive one final message confirming that your request has been processed.

After opting out, JFX LOGISTICS LLC will no longer send SMS or MMS messages to that number unless you provide consent again.

An opt-out request applies to SMS and MMS communications. It does not necessarily stop communications by telephone, email, or another method when those communications are otherwise permitted.

7. Privacy

JFX LOGISTICS LLC respects your privacy.

Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and messaging-consent data will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Information may be disclosed to service providers that help us operate our messaging program, deliver requested communications, maintain our systems, or provide related technical services. These providers may use the information only to perform services on our behalf.

8. Supported Carriers

SMS and MMS services are subject to the availability and capabilities of your wireless carrier and mobile device.

Supported carriers may change without notice. JFX LOGISTICS LLC does not guarantee that every wireless carrier or device will support every message, attachment, photograph, or document.

Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Message Delivery

Message delivery may be affected by circumstances outside the control of JFX LOGISTICS LLC, including:

Wireless-network availability
Internet or telephone-service interruptions
Mobile-device settings
Carrier filtering
Incorrect or inactive telephone numbers
Equipment failures
Weather events
Power outages
Third-party service interruptions

JFX LOGISTICS LLC does not guarantee the timing, accuracy, or successful delivery of every SMS or MMS message.

Text messages should not be relied upon as the only method for communicating urgent safety issues, emergencies, shipment losses, accidents, cargo theft, or other time-sensitive matters.

10. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

Provide an accurate mobile telephone number
Notify us if your telephone number changes
Avoid sending unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, threatening, or harmful content
Avoid sending confidential information unless reasonably necessary for freight or customer-service purposes
Avoid sending payment-card information, account passwords, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive personal information by text message

You are responsible for maintaining control of your mobile device and protecting access to messages received on that device.

11. MMS Messages, Photographs, and Documents

The messaging program may be used to send or receive:

Shipment photographs
Bills of lading
Proofs of delivery
Rate confirmations
Delivery receipts
Damage photographs
Equipment photographs
Freight documents
Other shipment-related files

You should send only information and materials that you are authorized to disclose.

By sending a photograph or document to JFX LOGISTICS LLC, you represent that you have the right to provide it for freight, business, claims, safety, compliance, or customer-service purposes.

12. No Emergency Service

The JFX LOGISTICS LLC SMS and MMS program is not an emergency-response service.

Do not use text messaging to report emergencies involving immediate danger, serious injury, fire, criminal activity, or other urgent threats.

Call 911 or the appropriate emergency service when immediate assistance is required.

13. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old or otherwise legally authorized to participate in the messaging program on behalf of a business.

By opting in, you represent that you meet these requirements.

14. Changes to These Terms

JFX LOGISTICS LLC may update these SMS Terms and Conditions periodically to reflect changes in:

Messaging practices
Business operations
Carrier requirements
Technology
Applicable laws or regulations

The updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Continued participation in the messaging program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms, to the extent permitted by law.

15. Suspension or Termination

JFX LOGISTICS LLC may suspend or terminate SMS or MMS communications when:

A recipient opts out
A telephone number is invalid or inactive
Messages repeatedly fail
A recipient misuses the messaging service
Continued messaging may violate carrier requirements or applicable law
The messaging program is discontinued

16. Governing Law

These SMS Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and applicable federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
